World Link Education makes all accommodation reservations and preparations for participants in the total program. A wide range of options is offered to suit different needs. For the privacy and convenience of participants, single rooms are provided. Double rooms are available for two students coming to Japan together and studying for the same duration.
Accommodation reservations are made as soon as the applications are received. The accommodation is finalized and confirmed only when the participant has fully enrolled and paid the program fees.
Accommodation generally starts on the Saturday prior to the first day of the program until 12:00 noon on the Saturday following the last day of the program. For example a 4 week program starting on Monday, April 18, will include accommodation from Saturday, April 16 until 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 14. *For students staying at the Residence, accommodation is included from the Friday before the program starts until the Monday after the program ends. Students should arrive between 9am and 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, in order to pick up their keys during office hours. Students arriving outside these times must provide for their own accommodation until the keys can be picked up.
Additional nights before or after the program are subject to availability. A maximum of 3 additional nights is available. For 4 nights or longer, weekly rates will apply. Details of accommodation are provided when enrollment is completed. Please note that no extra nights are available
when staying with a host family.
In order to have access to your accommodation you will need to provide your arrival details such as day of arrival, time and place. Such information is required at least 10 days prior to your arrival. This will enable advance notice to be given to host families and arrangements for keys to the residence or apartment to be handed over upon arrival. Below is a description of the Accommodation options:
Live in a welcoming home with a Japanese family and learn about the culture and traditions while improving your Japanese. Host families have been interviewed and selected by onsite staff. Factors taken into account when selecting families include the cleanliness and comfort of the home, nature of meals (that breakfast and evening meals are varied and balanced), family presence and the family's ability to welcome international guests. Special requests should be stated clearly in the Application Form. Requests such as diets, allergies, non-smoking household or no pets, will be taken into account when placements are made. For students staying with a Host Family there is a
curfew. Please contact WLE for more information. Meals are included. On weekdays, breakfast and dinner are provided. On weekends, breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided. As this is the most popular option, early application is highly recommended. Applications for Host Family should be made at least 6 weeks in advance.  Each room is furnished with a bed, side table, air-conditioning, and washing machine. Single private rooms are provided with bathroom and kitchenette. No meals provided. Bed linen is provided, however towels are not provided. A deposit is required to be paid to the landlord on arrival. It is returned provided there are no damages. As the Student Dormitory is a popular option, early application and enrollment is advised.
Live in a single room in an international residence. Each room is furnished with a bed, desk, chair, and air-conditioning. Single private rooms are provided with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Double shared room is available for two students applying together and studying for the same duration. Meals are not provided. Some International Residences have various leisure and recreational facilities, such as table tennis, pool table and common lounge (with internet access). A deposit is required to be paid to the landlord on arrival. It is returned provided there are no damages. When leaving the Residence, students are responsible for their room to be left clean and in the same condition as when they first checked in.

Live in your own private fully furnished studio. Suitable for one person or a couple. Studio apartments are furnished and located in surrounding residential areas in Tokyo. A deposit is required to be paid to the landlord on arrival. It is returned provided there are no damages to the apartment.
